Take yourself on a date; five ways to date you!

You’ve had a stressful week and you deserve a night out on the town but you’re single and your best friends are with their boyfriends and vice versa. So what’s a girl or guy to do? Treat yourself.  Take yourself out on a date! You don’t need to have another person present with you to do it either. Here are five ways to date yourself.

1. The movie date. It’s impossible for this date to go wrong. You can dress as casual or as comfy as you would like, grab some popcorn and you’re set!


2. An outing to a petting zoo. Love animals? The zoo, especially a petting zoo, might be just the thing for you. It’s interactive so you won’t even have the time to think about being on the date on your own.


3. Dinner at your favorite spot. Bonus: you don’t have to be shy or embarrassed that you ate far more than just your share!


4. Try out that yoga class. Zumba, Pilates or any other fitness classes you’ve been meaning to try are all fair game too.


5. And finally, you can’t go wrong with a good book. If you’re into reading (and let’s face it, everyone should be in to reading something, lol) then a day spent at your local library or bookstore, would be wonderful for you.  Spend the day reading to your heart’s content and who knows, you may just find a book or two or ten you want to take away with you to read longer. 🙂
